Wedding and Marriage preparation
(Photo above: Johnson, my maternal grandma and me! Taken at her 70th Birthday this year! Shes a non-believer, do take some time now to pray for ah ma! :) )
It has been a fantastic journey preparing for our wedding. :) I've heard of nasty diasters and arguments the couple can get into while planning for their Big Day, and they can't wait to "Get Over and Done with It." For us, it has been a growing season and I see us growing stronger in our relationship, and seeing us growing as two (individuals) YET as one has been exciting. I'm never a reader until the preparation began, and since then, the Christian books that friends recommended has been great for me to learn about growing as Two to become One. (Book by Boundaries in Marriage by Henry Cloud and John Townsend, Before you Say "I Do" by H.Norman Wright and Wes Roberts etc. Ask me if you want to know more! :))
God has always been existent in our plans and even guiding our steps. Sometimes we may stray away, but God has never strayed! :) As it so said in Proverbs, "In his heart a man plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps." I am usually the planner and likes to have a head start in most of my plans! But preparing myself to be a wife for Johnson and planning together as future husband and wife has been a great journey of lessons and discoveries for me. :)
I learn to submit in love to give Johnson opportunities to lead and to hear from God. I learn to treasure my personal time and space with God to pray for Johnson and our ministries tat God has so given us. I learn to not talk so much, but talk with encouragements and a listening ear. I learn to love unconditionally (tho I have not master it till Christ come I know) and to give Johnson his space to pray, to plan his ministry and to seek God in His leadership in his life, work and marriage. I learn that God speaks and is leading Johnson! :) Many times during this preparation season when our decisions do not meet, we do see and testify how God move between the two of us. :) God would surely, without fail speak to Johnson, and gives me the peace to be silent before God and to submit to God to lead.
We are still raising our wedding funds for our wedding and marriage, we appreciate prayers for a home and our support too! :) thank u! :)
Ministry
God has been faithful to our ministries, growing disciples and allowing lost students receive Him as their Lord and Savior! Students have rise up to become leaders and new believers have been assimilated into our ministry! :) Its amazing! :) As of now, our students are having exams and busying themselves studying, so for now, we staffs are taking time to plan the next academic year! This involvement in ministries with God really showed me a valuable priceless lesson, "I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God made it grow." 1Cor 3:6 It is not by our strength or efforts, but by God's power that His ministry grow and reign :) Thank YOU for coming in to be a part and to enjoy the fruits of God's labor! :) It's your seed too!! :p
Johnson's Student Venture ministry (Junior College ministry) is growing! Slowly but surely! :)

The team has been doing a fantastic work for God reaching out to students in Singapore. But I must say, comparing the different ministries to SV, this ministry has a great potential, but the ground is hard and the atmosphere to desire Him is tough too! Prayers are the only solution!! :)
Home updates
You can read from my above newsletter attachment! And for those who have been praying for my mom regarding the recent phone threat, thank you so much! Please do continue to pray for her heart too. :)
