John Rajan Nair - Ministry founder and team leader. John has been in creative ministry since 1998. He was formerly ministry director of Forerunner before God called him to media evangelism.

God opened a door last year while I was working in the SMU and SIM ministry after two years to help the WAP (Wide Angle Productions) ministry to build on their evangelistic films to reach to the young media generation. This small new team will be focusing on building real lives or true connecting stories and filming them to be used evangelistically to reach more and reach better!

So what is Yvonne doing there?
With the experience I gained from my one year of working experience as a social worker with delinquents and lost kids, and two years of experience working with youths from SMU and SIM, I do hope to bring in new perspectives and stories from the ground. I would also be continuing my discipleship groups in SMU and SIM, and speaking and teaching the Word of God! :) I would be giving stories, ideas, making short films, learning about the nity and gritty things about filming and how these can be used to expand the evangelistic tools for the great kingdom of God! Even if possible, to bring these resources to churches or christian organizations who are keen to use them too! :)

The Parable Project

The Parable Project is a 2-3 week intensive media production workshop that aims to impart the vision of media evangelism to tertiary students while imparting basic media production skills. The students will learn the basics of storytelling through the medium of short film and learn basic skills in conversational evangelism.

This year, The Parable Project 2008 will take place from the 7th of July to the 19th of July. Check this space for more details to come!
