Parable Project mission trip!
Times flies and its almost the end of the trip! So sorry for not updating regularly as I am busy during the mission trip and there is an Internet problem during the trip! :)
Staying in the St. Andrew's Diocese with the students have been great. :) Maybe just a brief update and some photos.. Our students had a chance to do their own short film productions last tuesday and wednesday! they had the roles of a producer, director to art director during the filming... it was fun seeing them so diligently wanting to get the production out well to share God's love to the other Christians and non-Christians around them!
There are two stories - "Double Vision" - Derek goes to the Optician to get his vision fix and maybe... his life. It talks about a man who desires to see the world as he wants it to be.
The other is named "Flowers for Her" - Roses are for love, Gerbaras are for friendship, Carnations are for mothers. Do you find it hard to reciprocate someone's love? Why do you hesitate? Journey with Danny through the similar fears and dilemmas of venturing into a new relationship. It talks about a man who is hesitant to chase this girl whom he adores, eventually when he did, it was too late...
Here are just some shots from our students during the production. :)

And we met a really nice Christian florist who willingly lends us her whole florist shop to use for our production!!! the whole 4 hours!!! My student just randomly search on the internet and dialed to search for a florist to use... many many rejected from 10am to the afternoon... until God let my student to find her number on the internet - and when he called, tada!!! she immediately said ok! :) God really really encouraged all of us when she willingly said ok! and when we went to her shop, we then realized that she was a Christian and she wanted to bless us too!!! :) PRAISE THE LORD. :)
Shes the nicely dressed in skirt lady! so cool ya! :)
Shanti if you are reading this, THANK YOU SO MUCH for your BIGBIG heart. Your generosity really spoke alot and taught our students alot :)
Catch the films which our students made soon on my website or the wideangle website!!! :)
More updates soon!! :)
Pray for our final day screening on 19th Jul at Sinema where our students will get a chance to invite all their non-believer friends and families to view their productions and share Christ's love to them!!! :)
